Release the Kraken!

Before founding Fat Kraken Studios in November 2016, we were friends and ex-colleagues all working on Oddworld: Soulstorm from our home offices. While remote developing has its own pros and cons we have collectively always had ambitions to open up our own studio. We quickly realized we had the perfect opportunity working with Oddworld Inhabitants and that now was the time to foster our creative talents under one roof and one brand, Fat Kraken Studios.

After registering the business and finalizing all of the nitty-gritty paperwork the hunt for a new office began! After a chaotic day of running back and forth across the city centre with last minute viewing and some surprisingly expensive hidden costs we eventually found one that worked well for us just outside the heart of Leeds and moved in with what in retrospect, might have been too many of our nerdy toys.

Now we're finally settled in it seems like a good time to introduce ourselves!
